Partner Agency Capacity Building Initiative

Partner Agency Capacity Building Initiative

2025 Grant Opportunity
Funded by Thomas Bottom

At the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, we know that lasting change happens when we work side by side with our Partner Agencies to meet the growing needs of our neighbors. Thanks to the generous support of local donor, Thomas Bottom, we are excited to launch the Partner Agency Capacity Building Initiative. This initiative is designed to help your agency build capacity, strengthen services, and continue providing hope and nourishment in the communities we serve together via future supports from our Agency Relations Team and direct and competitive grant opportunities.

This initiative helps agencies build capacity, strengthen services, and continue providing hope and nourishment in our communities. Support will come through competitive grant opportunities and ongoing collaboration with the Food Bank’s Agency Relations Team.

The program focuses on efforts that:

  • Expand access through evening and weekend hours

  • Create more dignified experiences with client-choice models

  • Reach communities that have historically had fewer resources

  • Improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability of food assistance
