CANstruction Reno is back at Meadowood Mall, where teams of students, architects, engineers, builders, and community partners transform thousands of cans into bold, larger-than-life sculptures.
It’s creative. It’s unexpected. And every single can will help feed our community.
And you’ll help decide a winner. Starting April 29, come back here to vote for your favorite structure in the People’s Choice Award.

Build Day: Wednesday, April 29 | 8:00am – 8:00pm Meadowood Mall Center Court
The excitement starts on Build Day, when teams bring their ideas to life right before your eyes. Stop by, walk through the space, and see creativity in action as structures take shape one can at a time. Every detail matters. Every can counts. And by the end of the day, you’ll see something truly incredible come together.
Seeing them in person? Don’t forget, you can vote for your favorite team(s) starting at 8:00am on April 29!
Cheer them on at the Awards Ceremony
Awards Ceremony: Thursday, April 30 | 6:00pm Meadowood Mall Center Court
Come back the next evening to see the finished structures in all their glory and celebrate the winning teams.

Starting April 29, you’ll be able to vote for your favorite structure online. $1 = 1 vote = 3 meals for our community.
Plan to visit Meadowood Mall to see the builds come to life — or view photos of the completed structures right here on our website after Build Day if you can’t make it in person. Then, cast your vote for your favorite structure(s) to help them claim the most coveted award of the event.
