We can’t think of a better way to kick off Hunger Action Month than with the tastiest competition in the Biggest Little City. The 4th Annual Battle Born Burger Showdown is back, bringing together local food trucks serving their most creative burger-inspired dishes – from bold twists on classics to unexpected creations that just might surprise you.
This is your chance to support local food trucks while making a difference. Every bite you try helps highlight the amazing talent of our local food scene – and every vote you cast provides meals for neighbors facing hunger.
🏆 The Ultimate Bragging Rights Are Up for Grabs
With prizes for Judge’s Favorite and People’s Choice, our food trucks are out to prove they’ve got the winning bite. But the most important judge is YOU. Every dish you try is a chance to cast your vote and help crown the People’s Choice Champion.
How It Works
$1 = 1 Vote = 3 Meals
- Purchase the competition menu items directly from the trucks to taste their burger-inspired creations.
- Cast your vote(s) for your favorite bite. Each vote costs $1, and every dollar provides three meals for neighbors facing hunger. That means you have our full permission to cast as many votes as you want. The more you vote, the more you help your community – and the closer your favorite bite gets to victory!
Here’s a Sneak Peek at Who’s COmpeting and What’s On the Menu:
- A Touch of Soul | The Soul Stack: Hawaiian-inspired chicken sandwich… with a Creole twist!
- Doggy Style | Beefed Up Dog: All the best parts of a juicy burger, flipped into a corndog. Stuffed with seasoned beef, cheese, and loaded with classic burger toppings, this stick is stacked, saucy, and too good to keep in a bun!
- Frydays | Frydays Smash: Jalapeño bacon smash burger with a special garlic sauce.
- Lety’s Tacos | The Crispy Jalapeño Burger: Toasted burger bun, house dressing, juicy 1/3 lb beef patty, melted mozzarella cheese, sliced avocado, sliced tomato, grilled onions, crispy tortilla strips, jalapeño salsa.
- Mary’s Minis | Oso’s Kalúa Burger: BBQ sauce, mayo, pickle, lettuce, tomato, onion, kalua pork, fries, and pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun
- MOGROG | Sauerbraten Burger: Seasoned ground beef, blaukraut, ginger snap gravy, Prussian dressing, pickled red onions on a pretzel bun.
- Rubshack | Chico Slider: Pepperjack, bacon, peanut butter, Russian dressing, lettuce, tomato, onion.
- Silver Rush Grill | The Blackened Bleu Smash: Toasted brioche bun, smash burger grilled with zesty blackening spices, creamy melted blue cheese, balsamic caramelized onions, sliced tomato, bibb lettuce and a spread of garlic-rosemary aioli.
Menu items subject to mouthwatering updates – you’ll have to be there to taste them all!
Hungry for more than just the competition? Trucks will also have other menu items available outside of the contest entries.
