Mobile Pantry
Launched in May 2007, the Food Bank Mobile Pantry Program delivers fresh produce which we purchase with donated funds, along with some basic donated groceries to low-income families at nine low-income neighborhood sites each month. The Food Bank provides fresh fruits and vegetables to promote healthy eating to more than 820 families per month. The impoverished children in these families can now benefit from free breakfasts and lunches at school as well as from healthier food at home.
