Tour the Food Bank at a Food For Thought Meeting
As you may know we have made many changes to serve our clients
more effectively and to advocate on their behalf. Come and visit with
us and see just what we do and how we do it! Join us at 7:30 a.m. the
second Tuesday of the month for a one-hour informative tour of the Food
Bank warehouse and see our work firsthand. You will not be asked for
a financial contribution, but we would welcome your advice and feedback.

Reno Rodeo Foundation Helps Low Income Children Lasso Healthy Nutrition
The Reno Rodeo Foundation has given the Food Bank a $15,000 partnership grant to fund its Sun Valley Elementary School Hunger Relief Project. The partnership grant, which will be used for the 2007-2008 school year, and will help to fund the Kids Cafe, Back-Pack Kids, Nutrition Education and Mobile Pantry programs for the elementary school. The project’s innovative and comprehensive approach to child hunger will help ensure that hungry children at Sun Valley Elementary will get the food they need to help them concentrate in school as well as the education they need to learn healthy eating habits.

a variety of designs and colors. These designs are provided to the Food
Bank as a fundraiser by Designs by Lucinda. Order your pin today by emailing dphelps@fbnn.org.
Price is $14 per pin. ($7 per pin is tax deductible.)
